Christchurch RFC are proud to be part of the Wooden Spoon family as a partner club.
You will see the Wooden Spoon Partner Club plaque on the club wall, next to the changing room doors and a collection jar can be found inside on the bar.
All we ask of our players and supporters is to find a little change to put into the collection jar whenever possible as not only will these donations help to make a positive difference in the local community, but it will also help to raise the profile of Christchurch RFC and provide additional value to our sponsors.
Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby.
Wooden Spoon is a dynamic and impactful charity dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people through the power of the rugby community by provide grants to local charities and organisations who work to give the best life opportunities to children and young people living with disabilities, those disadvantaged and those disengaged from society.
Wooden Spoon have a national footprint, but the largest part of our income is raised by local volunteers. Our aim is that every penny that our volunteers raise is spent in their local communities.
But we need your help more than ever as more children need our help, we are asking you, the rugby community, to come together, in the true spirit of rugby and help us change young peoples’ lives.
